Year End Meme

1. What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before?
I can’t say there is anything that I haven’t done before… Sad really.

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I don’t like to disappoint myself. So I have never made resolutions.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

Not this year. I think all my siblings are done.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Thankfully, no.

5. What countries did you visit?
None other than the US where I live. But I have traveled through a few states.

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?

A hobby other than school and sleeping.

7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
None were specifically memorable.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I got a new position at work.

9. What was your biggest failure?
I don’t think that I have had any major failures. THAT IS GREAT!!!

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
No injuries, but I did get severely sick a couple of times which required medical attention.

11. What was the best thing you bought?

Ryan’s 12 string guitar. I love getting him things that he really appreciates.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Ryan! He’s been my rock.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My own… I have stressed myself out TOOOOOOOO much this year. Poor Ryan had to deal with my moods.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Rent. I DO live in the Bay Area.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

That I will potentially graduate in just a few months. YAY!!!!

16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
I’m never good at these questions… Don’t ask.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you: (a) happier or sadder? (b) thinner or fatter? (c) richer or poorer?

I would say I am happier, fatter and poorer, but getting financially better.

18. What do you wish you’d done more of?

Freaking out about school.

20. How did you spend Christmas?

With my family. Fairly relaxing actually.

21. Did you fall in love in 2007?

More and more all the time.

22. What was your favorite TV program?

I don’t think I have a favorite. TV is disappointing me lately. But I like not watching as much TV anyway.

23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?

Nope. I’m like people.

24. What was the best book you read?
Well, I can’t remember the last personal book I read, but I enjoyed reading more about Medieval history. I had 5 or 6 books from school that would have been better if they weren’t required.

25. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Regina Spektor

26. What did you want and get?

A scanner. Thanks Ryan!

27. What did you want and not get?

A house. But that is a few years away anyway.

28. What was your favorite film of this year?

Enchanted

29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 28, but I really don’t remember it. It was almost a year ago.

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
For both Ryan and I to have graduated already.

31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?

A little more classier. Less focused just on comfort.

32. What kept you sane?
Ryan

33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
No one new. Just the regular cast of characters.

34. What political issue stirred you the most?

I’m going to stay away from politics on my blog.

35. Who did you miss?

No one right now. I have just come away from my family, so I’m good.

36. Who was the best new person you met?

Yikes… I meet new people everyday in my job, but I don’t get to know them.
